The Solar Proponent Team is committed to giving back to our communities as we work together to improve our environment, our economy, and our society.
The Solar Proponent team helped package and distribute food in preparation for Thanksgiving. The holiday season is one of the busies times of the year for the Central Texas Food Bank, and we were able to assist in packaging nearly 10,000 meals for those in need. It was rewarding to help make a difference when the community needed it the most.
Solar Proponent spent the day picking up trash along the banks of Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin. As Austinites, we are lucky to have close access to the lakes and parks in our area and are happy to help keep these places beautiful and clean for all to enjoy.
Our team helped prepare food and distribute meals to 160 homeless people in our community. It was amazing to see the efficiency of the dedicated Caritas team and the difference they’re making to prevent and end homelessness in Greater Austin.
Solar Proponent adopted the Balcones Park in North Austin for a day, working with the professionals from the Austin Parks Foundation to pick up trash and to repaint tables, benches and park fixtures. We are so impressed by the great work that the Austin Parks Foundation does, and are proud to be a sponsor and help preserve our community environment.
Solar Proponent spent a day caring for trees in a local Austin park, distributing 4,000 pounds of mulch.
