Jeff brings to his role as Chief Development Officer of Solar Proponent LLC over 10 years of experience leading utility scale renewable development teams in ERCOT, having completed 1.2GW of utility-scale renewable developments.

Most recently, Jeff opened the U.S. regional development office of Energiekontor AG, a German developer, owner, and operator of utility scale wind and solar projects that is active in six European counties. He built a development team, greenfield sited solar projects in ERCOT, and contracted to sell two late-stage development solar projects.

Prior to Energiekontor, Jeff managed solar and renewable project portfolios and development teams for RES Americas. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA with focus on Energy Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
